Volume 1: Monsters
Our mousy protagonist Willow lives in a mundane and restricted school, which ends up being the worst place someone could get gifted a magical necklace. Desperately trying to contain the magic within, this act of futility seems to just make matters worse. As the necklace crumbles the school’s secrets around her, Willow is left to wonder if it was a gift sent by friend or foe?
Volume 2: Mischief
Willow, Georgia and Emma have accidentally wrapped both Tillie and Aaron into their magical girl shenanigans much to their chagrin. However, things seem to be getting even harder to keep quiet as these magical powers have turned from intriguing to infectious. Between daylight daydreams, tanking a track star, bathroom breakdowns and betrayal from within – our quarreling quintet might be in bigger trouble then they ever thought possible.
Volume 3: Malice
The infection has spread beyond control, their quiet home a prison. Willow and the rest of the XII, incapacitated and injured, try desperately to make sense of the world they never knew they lived in. Trapped in the claws of the Headmistress and their necklaces confiscated – the only thing the girls have left: is escape.
