Hey magical menagerie!

Sorry about the delay - I put the wrong date in the schedule.

I also would like to make a brief statement:

I'm burnt out. I'm practically charcoal.

I've been working on M&M since 2013 and have Rogues and Remnants fully sketched out, with one book inked. Book 3 is scripted out for the most part. But even with a massive buffer chilling on the back burner I realize that I should have taken a break between M&M and R&R. I need my own R&R (hohohoho).  What does this mean? It means that as of last week I've put my tablet down and will be entering a long down period. Something I had hoped to avoid with the way I was working: An indefinite hiatus.

There's a lot of work done, so I definitely don't see this project shutting down. But I've been drawing straight for the past decade & my arm needs to heal. And most of all, my brain needs to heal. There are still comics planned all the way to the end of the year. Ending somewhere in December. But I don't know if I'll be coming back in 2024. It may be 6 months away, but I have to deal a with decade of hurt, and I feel like not having a deadline is the only way for me to properly rest.

Magic and Muses went it's entire run without an unexpected break. It got up to 6 pages a week for it's final year. And with the help of my backers was able to be physically brought into the world. I've been able to do things a lot of webcomics only dream of accomplishing, and I'll never forget it. But I want to come back with a better brain, and a healthier mindset so I can treat this story with the proper love it deserves.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy the rest of Suburban Sanctuary.
